We bought a certificate at a fundraiser and had never been to Envy before which would have been an issue except for the fact that they were able to get my son, who is normally very shy and doesn't normally like to take pictures, take amazing pictures and laugh almost the entire time. I loved almost all the pictures that came from the photo session and will treasure them always.

David has taken our photos for the last several years. He is funny and professional. We have considered taking a vacation to Tennessee once a year to continue having him take our photos and I'm not kidding about that...

I find that this depends greatly on the client. There is no "one size fits all" approach to portraiture.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training began in college and has been ongoing ever since. After all these years, I am still learning new things! If you aren't growing as a photographer, you're dying!
