Impact Animated Videos: Fast, Responsive, Proactive About me (the client): I work in a lean marketing team working on a co-marketing campaign in conjunction with a large multinational corporation. The challenge: I was tasked with creating a vector-animated video to promote the partnership on the website of this major company. I was nervous! Not only was it a high-visibility, high-stakes project, but it was the first vector-animated video I had ever had to have created. Some of the imagery represented rather technically specialized items. Finally, the stakeholder company had extremely strict and defined legal and brand guidelines. I found Impact through Thumbtack.com and it was the best decision I could have made. Impact Animated Videos team's approach: I was impressed with the team's proactive approach by first showing examples of static images from which we could choose a style. Then creating a static storyboard for review. Despite the technical nature of parts of the video, the animator delivered results with accuracy. The additional stylization and emphasis added by Impact were on point. The team was responsive to edits and highly organized. They were quick to ask clarifying questions to avoid unnecessary work on both ends. The result: The video was delivered on time, on budget, and delighted all the many teams of stakeholders. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Impact Animated Videos again.

We are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but the one thing that differentiates us is that we understand what it takes for a video to get results and we create your video to get viewers to take action. In the end, that's what really matters. We provide everything from concept and script (by a pro scriptwriter) to final video with music and sound effects. Our work is 100% custom and hand-drawn. No copy and paste projects. So if you compare our prices, keep this in mind. Our videos are 100% tailored to your business.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a simple process and will guide you each step of the way. Since the video is all about you or your company, that's where we start. We'll get all the needed information from you to best understand and realize your message and vision. This step can also help clarify your message for you if you are unclear on exactly what you would like to communicate. Once we know what you are after we create a script for you. Note that on each step of our process we offer unlimited revisions - so we will revise the script until you are 100% happy. Once the script is approved we will go on to create your illustrated storyboard. This is where we create all the drawings for your video for you to see. Once again, we only move on once you're 100% happy. Then you get you to choose your favorite from our pool of professional voice over artists and we get your voice over recorded. Now comes the really exciting part - bringing your video to life! We will animated your video, adding the voice over, music and sound effects. And again, we offer unlimited revisions. And that's it - you get to present you video proudly to the world!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner and Creative Director, Karen, has a degree in surface and textile design and is trained and proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (through online training and 22 years of experience). We work with two professional scriptwriters and our illustrators and animators have an array of education and training. The proof that our team is completely qualified is in our work! :)
