- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price comes down to time and what needs to be purchased or made. So most jobs need to be viewed before I can give a price.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have helped my friends and I found that I really enjoy helping people make their lives easier. So my friends started asking me if I could help people that they knew. So when I found Thumbtack, I thought it would be the perfect way to connect with customers who need help in this area.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked on small jobs, from the dreaded closet and/or "junk" drawer. We all have them - its the place that everything goes that doesn't have a place. Then one day we wake up and it is so full of everything that you just can't get a handle on it. The other is downsizing. Especially moving in to an apartment from a house or moving in with someone and now having to share the space. I also work with those moving into an assisted living facility where you are really limited to what you can bring with you. New moves - especially downsizing (home to apartment or to an assisted living apartment) It is very difficult to decide what goes, what doesn't and how to organize what you decide to keep. Converting a room, usually after a child has moved off to college and now you can have that craft/sewing room that you always wanted. One of my favorites - you are now out on your own and you are tired of White or neutral walls and want to liven up your place with vibrant color. This is so much fun helping someone come out of their neutral shell! Don't worry - we will start with some boundaries/rules. Child proofing - All of those little things that children get into. I can perform a thorough inspection of your home and help identify the dangers. Exposed electrical outlets is just the start. Call me, I can help.
