We chose Mercedes to be part of our wedding on June 12, 2021 and be our officiant. Mercedes has a warm, kind, and out going personality, which has you and your guests fall in love with right away. She blended in with the family and friends and made the ceremony engaging, up lifting and funny. We had a great time and we could not have imagined our wedding without her. Our wedding took place on honeymoon island state park, north beach and it was a dream come true. She helped both I and my husband out to prepare for this magical event. Mercedes is beautiful inside and out, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Thank you Mercedes, Claudia and Dan. Our wedding ceremony was perfect and you made it so memorable.

Mercedes did amazing officiating our small casual wedding at our home. She was professional and it was effortless to work with her. She provided the perfect amount of spirituality that we wanted and allowed us to make the ceremony personal to us. Everyone complimented the service and we really felt that it was a memorable experience. It would not have been what it was without her. Mercedes was absolutely wonderful in every way. My (now) wife and I has a very small intimate non-religious wedding and Mercedes was everything we could have hoped for and more. Even though we did not have an opportunity to meet her before the ceremony itself, we were completely confident that it would go off without any issues. She was responsive, professional and more than patient with our very busy schedules. Happy to respond whichever way was prefered, whether it was via text, phone call or email. The ceremony itself could not have been more perfect and her choice of words brought both of us to tears the first time we read them. I was very hesitant on who to choose to officiate my wedding ceremony. My husband and I are Hispanic and perfected the ceremony to be in Spanish. Mercedes did an excel and job portraying us as a couple and made it very unique and special to us. Thank you Mercedes for an unforgettable moment!

Mercedes was the angel we needed to bring the vision together for our wedding. My husband is from Honduras and with so many Spanish speaking guests attending, we needed a bilingual ceremony. Mercedes officiated in both languages to the delight of all. She also helped with our vows which took a big weight off our shoulders & accommodated us when she learned the only way on and off the island was by boat. I loved it that she wore an aqua dress to coordinate perfectly with our theme. Mercedes takes the time to pay attention to detail and you can tell she does this from her heart as well as a business perspective. We were thrilled to have this beautiful, kind, genuine woman be a part of our special day. It wouldn't have been the same without her! Thank you, Mercedes!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All fees are according to size of the wedding and distance. Ceremonies start at $190 in Manatee County.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with my couples over the phone and explain my services and packages. We can start contacting via text and phone and later we can meet in person if I am available for an extra fee.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in criminal justice but my love and years of experience as officiant is what makes me great at what I do. I really love being an officiant 💕
