I started Salty Bartender in 2017 because I believed people deserved more than a stranger behind a folding table pouring drinks. They deserved someone who actually cared how the night went. Nine years later, that's still what we show up for. We've worked weddings where the bride was in tears (happy ones), backyard parties that turned into something nobody wanted to leave, and corporate events where the bar became the most-talked-about part of the night. We're a team of 10, fully insured, and we've done this enough to know that the bar sets the tone for the whole event. Get it right and your guests feel it all night. We take that seriously.

We hired Salty Bartender for our wedding. The cocktails were excellent! Christa made them to our preference very well and our guests were happy. The communication was great and they even made us a grocery list with the list of our drinks we gave them!

We had hired Salty Bartender as our wait staff at our wedding.
On the positive side, they did a great job keeping drinks and garnishes flowing throughout the event. The bar area stayed stocked and guests were consistently taken care of. They also served the champagne toast and tiramisu right on time, which we really appreciated and helped those key moments go smoothly.
One thing I will say is that the communication prior to the wedding and making sure everything was in place was exceptional. She was very responsive and extremely helpful, which made planning feel much easier. They were also able to pick up the Chipotle catering prior to arriving at the event, which was incredibly helpful and took a big task off our plate.
That said, there were some things that did not meet our expectations. At a few points in the night guests noticed them talking behind the house when they were supposed to be stationed near the drink area. We also heard afterward that the kitchen was left messy and they did not clean up their mess before they left, which was disappointing given that cleanup is an important part of their role.
Overall, they did handle the core responsibilities we hired them for, and we are so grateful for that. There were just a couple of inconsistencies that kept the experience from feeling like 5 stars.
We appreciate their help during our wedding day, and based on our experience we would rate their service around 4 stars out of 5 and we would recommend them for completing the basic responsibilities given to them!

Angie was responsive prior to and was willing to get creative my for our family luau drinks we requested. We are Instagram/ Pinterest fans and found several drinks that we wanted to try. Not only did she have fun with it she executed our vision. If you are in 30a or Destin and need a mobile bartender, Angie is your girl. We will be using her next spring break and if we come back in the summer.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is transparent and flat-rate with no hidden fees. Rates start at $200 per bartender and scale based on guest count, hours, and services needed. We offer bartender-only dry-hire services as well as full bar packages that include mixers, ice, coolers, and custom cocktail menus. Reach out directly for a personalized quote—we're happy to work within your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick conversation to understand your event—guest count, theme, venue, & bar needs. From there we'll recommend the right package and walk you through everything: what to purchase, how much, and what we handle. For larger or more complex events, we offer a full consultation to build out a custom bar menu. Our goal is to make the bar the easiest part of your planning process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a graduate of Midwest Bartenders School of Indianapolis and have been bartending professionally since 2017. Over the years I've worked everything from private suites at the Indy 500 to large-scale weddings, corporate events, and high-profile private gatherings across the Florida Panhandle. I lead a team of 10 trained bartenders, all background-checked and experienced in professional event service.
