Yes I'm always studying something related to my work area, reading, taking short courses and traveling to other countries so I keep improving my language skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved reading and studying languages and I realized that I find great please in sharing any knowledge with others and help them to fulfill their goals.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I usually help clients to: - develop fluency in speaking, improving their pronunciation and vocabulary. Most of them are beginners so it requires particular pronunciation and listening. I usually use authentic material and audios I record. - get ready for Portuguese proficiency exams. I explain the strategies they can use to approach a text, review grammar as necessary, plan speaking and listening activities. - get ready for job interviews, trips, work or schools exams. It is usually carried out through particular material brought by the student or prepared by me.
