- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally for long-format work, I charge $50 per minute (over 10 minutes), but it depends on usage, markets, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First agree on rate, terms, deadlines, pickups and usage. I usually request 50% of payment up front for new clients (via PayPal) before work can begin. Minor scripts changes or requests for a different read, etc., are usually included. Once you are completely satisfied with your audio and have approved it, balance of payment is requested. You will find me easy to work with, and I will strive to make your project shine!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.A. in Speech from the University Wisconsin, specializing in the "Oral Interpretation of Literature." More than 3 decades of experience as a voice actor, writer, copy editor and proofreader. Self-employed since 1988.
