    I inherited a Dacor built-in grill with a recent home purchase. It was in terrible shape. Rehabbing it with Monty was a tremendous value vs. a very expensive replacement. He cleaned it replaced working parts and restored it to good working condition.

    Not a happy customer. Have an 8 year old grill used only for rotisserie (I use natural charcoal in Big Green Egg for grilling). Was not working, engaged them to come out and check. They said needed major repairs, so spent about $600 parts and labor to have repairs done over period of a couple months. When finished the rotisserie still did not work. Then they told me for first time that the rotisserie probably needed replacing, and could not be sure one was available. So after spending about $600 for repairs to old grill still have an unusable rotsserie. Certainly would not recommend.

    Dear Joe,
    We do understand you aggravation for the money spent on the repairs of your Profire grill, but simply to remind you that it is impossible for us to foresee every single problem that can go wrong with a gas grill.

    You called us to repair the ignition on you Profire grill and we promptly schedule d you for that service. Throughout the evaluation of your grill, we realized that the manifold on your grill had a huge hole that could have caused an accident. Anyway, we ordered the parts not only to replace the manifold, but also the ignition and burners on your grill. We spend over 3 hrs on the job, but we only charged you for 2 hours' work. When we tested the new burners we installed and the ignition, everything worked besides the rotisserie backburner. There is no way to test if the rotisserie backburner worked, without first replacing the leaking manifold. It's like a surgeon doctor trying to test pulmonary function on a patient who needs a heart transplant. When we realized, we needed to replace the rotisserie backburner, we called you and let you know. We even promised we would order it and install it at no extra charge to you and you would only pay for the rotisserie backburner ONLY if it worked. Well, this part is backordered, unfortunately, we also depend on the grill manufacturer's parts availability to move on. Once the part comes in, we will call you so that you can make up your mind if you want it or not.

    Monty has been here twice in bout 9 months. First time was a repay that worked very well and he was very reasonably priced. I called him back for a complete cleaning of a 56" Stainless g rill and I was shocked to see how he disassembled the entire grill and cleaned every square inch of the grill, inside and out. This grill is 10 years old and looked the part before he got here, and now the grill looks like it did when I bought it. Monty and his assistant were courteous, quick, clean and concerned about not getting my pool deck dirty. They went the extra mile and kept me posted along the way to let me know what they were doing and why. 4 hours later...perfect clean grill that worked perfectly!! You need to call Monty now if you have a g rill that needs service and or cleaning.

    Monty was friendly and professional. He did an amazing job refurbishing my Fire Magic custom grille. It went from a dirty poorly working grill to looking like it came out of the showroom! Awesome job!

    A magician! He transformed a 16 year old grill that was no longer manufactured into a brand new unit. The work was finished and installed on time. Monty was very professional. I highly recommend him and the Grill Doctor crew.

    "Monty did an amazing job! I hired him to repair and clean my barbecue grill and he took it apart, replaced the burners, cleaned everything and got the ignitor started again. He was on time and very professional and even though he was costly, he was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend him to others!"

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. We recently worked on a large Viking grill with 3 stainless steel burners and a searing unit. Viking is usually a solid grill overall that can perform well for a long timel. However, like any other outdoor appliance exposed to the elements, if it is not protected with a cover, it may reduce its life span. We replaced igniters, modules, burners, and cooking grates on this model.
We also repaired a DCS 27" built-in model. This time the homeowner got the "right size burner" online and installed it himself. It worked fine for a few months until he noticed a hissing noise. Long story short, the burner was

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking for someone to clean and/or repair your gas grill, you're bound to find somebody to do the job.
However, keep in mind that you have to entrust your gas grill cleaning, repair to a qualified gas LICENSED company because that person will be working on a gas-fired appliance. Needless to say why? So if you are looking for a professional gas grill cleaning service, gas grill repair, or top quality gas grill replacement parts, call us up.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Ask for a Gas license to let your contractor work on your gas fired appliance. In FL you need a gas license even to clean your grill, think about it, if something goes wrong you will be the first in finding it out. Better safe than sorry.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Are you gas licensed by the state of FL?
Are you insured?
How long will this job take?
Can you show me the old parts you replaced?
Will you use replacement parts made for this grill?
What's the worst case scenario?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. A professional thorough gas grill repair and detailed deep cleaning of all makes of bbq grills. We can tell we have done an amazing job because of the following:
a. We usually have to pick up our clients' jaws, that's right! their jaws literally drop when they see their "like new grill"
b. We generally get a big pat on the back, good thing we don't smoke otherwise we might get "lung problems" with so many people patting us on our back to congratulate us on an impeccable job!
c. We rarely expect to get a tip for a gas grill repair or bbq cleaning job, but customers very often do. Hey, think about it! Would you tip a waiter whose service was mediocre? I thought so!
d. We EXCEL at what we do, we do not try to take advantage of our clients!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Every new gas grill repair job is kind of an interesting challenge, every grill is somewhat different, and it is gratifying to help people and make money at the same time!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. a. Can I check a gas leak with a match? NOWAY!
b. Can you come by first time in the morning tomorrow? I will do my best to schedule you as soon as I can!
c. How long will it take you to clean my grill? My question is: "When was the last time you had it cleaned?" Medium size grills usually take between 2.5 to 3.5 hrs to "transform your bbq grill" from "it looks disgusting" to "Oh, my God, it looks so clean that I don't want to touch it".
Larger grills can take up to 5 - 6 hrs to do a full restoration job.
