Introduction: I am not what I do, but since you've taken the time to visit me here, I'll reveal this: I love what I do.
It's child-like, as if each impossible thing I can show you is a discovery of what Ive never seen for myself. I use no fake boxes or fancy wands: the world around me is my beautiful assistant, from which I borrow everyday objects from to illustrate what I believe can and can't be done. When it works, it's disarming- anyone caught watching will be beside themselves with surprise. We'd fill in the blanks with reactions: funny faces, laugh out louds, visceral screams- anything to make sense of the fragile moment where logic drops and belief doesn't.
I make magic that is deep, joyful, bizarre, and poetic- inspired by the illusions of the mind and the mysteries of the soul. It's the quirk of an awkward silence, or the glimmer of a best kept secret.
