FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We were two piano technicians, who also do a lot of church work, doing what piano techs do. Old-time piano players stopped having their pianos tuned, and wanted us to refurbish them instead. Young piano buyers, and parents who wanted kids to take piano lessons, found they couldn't afford piano-store prices, but they loved our restored pianos. We carried more and more until we could fit no more in our workshop. So now we have a warehouse full of great options to help you beat the economy, and get into music with a beautiful piano.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a potential tuner if he tunes by ear or machine (both is best), and if he is young enough to maintain good hearing. Ask if he has enough experience to do a good job on your piano.
