I tune and service all makes of acoustic pianos from Baldwin to Yamaha and models ranging in size from vertical spinets,consoles,studio and small and large uprights, and baby grand to full concert grand pianos. I started tuning 30 years ago. I was fortunate to learn from a piano technician who had me tune and service pianos for international artists in concert halls. He was so impressed by my playing that after a tuning, he'd have me play a short concert which I still do today. I am a perfectionist rather than rushing through to finish in record time without check my work. I focus on quality not quantity so normally schedule one piano service call per day. From start to finish I normally take 45-60 minutes to tune. My tuning last much longer than normal because of the concert techniques I use. My fee is the industry average for piano tuning. However the quality I strive to produce always results in tuning stability & longevity no matter how much use the piano receives.. The best part of my job is the delight and positive response I receive from piano owners for piano that sounds at it's optimum.
