I needed my front yard resodded and contacted Joe to provide a cost estimate. Joe conducted a thorough site survey and provided a detailed assessment of the work to be done, the materials and labor required and the cost to complete all of my requirements. On the day of installation, he arrived with a worker at the time promised. They removed and disposed of all of the old grass, leveled and prepared the ground, and laid and trimmed the sod. During the process, he tested my underground irrigation system, replaced damaged parts and adjusted the sprinkling paths to ensure required coverage. My front yard now looks the best that it has looked since I purchased the house 5 years ago. The work performed by All Star Sod and Landscaping was professionally accomplished, on time and on budget. I highly recommend Joe Smolinsky and I have a future, larger landscaping task that I will hire Joe and his Company to accomplish when I can coordinate it with my neighbor. --mjs

Joe was a great person to work with. Very friendly and professional. We had our whole yard (almost 1 acre) done with St Augustine. We had an issue with one of the neighbor's property line that was addressed on the same day. We were advised at the begging that sometimes there's a little discrepancy between the quoted amount sod needed and the actual need. Unfortunately our difference was over $500 (which put his quote higher than the other quotes we got). But he worked with us on the difference. Overall, it was a well done job and we'd use All Star Sod again if needed.

Joe had very good communication. He came out quickly and measured everything. His prices were very competitive. His crew came out and placed the sod in a professional mananer and everything was done well. I highly recommend his company to anyone considering landscaping or sod replacement.
