Thom designed the background for my wedding invitation, a beautiful blue sky with wispy clouds skirting across the expanse. So realistic, you couldn't tell it was a painting! He created 2 dozen T-shirts, all different but of one theme, for a team event. He gifted me with a set of greeting cards, created from his original paintings. I have visited 2 sets where he was the artistic director of the play, one in South Beach, FL and the other in Santa Barbara, CA. He effectively guides his staff and is not afraid to jump in and help, hands-on. He is a gifited artist and knows the value of meeting deadlines.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born an artist. It's in there. And there is no hiding from it for me. As a young child I would literally feel the energy in my fingers wanting to create and paint and build...Color was magic to me and still is.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly people have need or advertising, and logo design. I do some paintings by commission also. I illustrate children's books. LOVE that. I do set design for theatres and production companies. I design brochures and stuff. I can put together a MEAN party or special event for you too.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
While in Santa Barbara a few yeas ago, I was the creative director for a production of the Opera, Poppea. About a month before opening night the set designer quit on us and we were left with no set because we were unable to use here designs. Well I had to not only design the set, but I also had to build it in three weeks. It was quite intense but it turned out absolutely beautiful and it showed me that I am able to do what has to be done to insure that the show will go on.
