Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have a complete understanding of Interior Design and construction. I attended Southern Illinois University for Interior Design and began remodeling homes immediately out of college. I have owned a custom cabinetry manufacturing business and an interior design company as well as worked in custom window treatments and tile & flooring. I love what I do and it shows in my work. My job is not to make your home look like my home. It is to make your home look exactly the way you want it to look. It is my goal to connect with my client so I am able to create their dream space.

I have "photographed" for print ads and testimonial ads many of the projects that Miranda has designed and completed. From "Traditional" to "Contemporary" the work and the comments from her customers were outstanding! Designing a new interior - I highly recommend Miranda!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I do more kitchen and bath remodeling than any other services. I am currently working with several builders to assist their customers with selecting all the design features and products for their new homes including layout, tile, baseboard, tile, doors, paint colors, cabinetry, etc. I will assist them in putting together an ideabook on how they want their new home to look. I will then take into consideration their budget and find all the products needed to accomplish the design.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the person or company you hire is qualified and licensed. A handyman is not licensed to do any of the following: General, Residential or Commercial Building or Remodeling, Demolition, Structural, Cabinet or Trim Carpentry, Ceramic Tile, Terrazzo or Marble, Concrete or Masonry, Door, Window or Garage Door Installation, Drywall, Electrical, Glass or Glazing, Painting or Wall Covering, Plaster, Stucco and Spraycrete, Plumbing, Roofing, Shed Installation, Building Moving along with a very long list of other items. According to Florida Law, consumers who knowingly hire unlicensed construction contractors could face a fine of up to $5,000.00. All these facts and other information can be found on the Charlotte Desoto Builders Industry website (www.cdbia.com) under the tab "Consumer Resources". The CDBIA along with The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce are great resources to finding a reputable business resource.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I listen! I treat you with the professionalism and respect that I would expect to be treated with. I take into consideration how the space is being used, who is using it and what type of budget you want to work with. I take a very practical approach to design and know I cannot deliver the final product that you deserve unless I listen to your needs, ask you to be clear about your expectations and am detailed on what I am going to do and provide.
