We are so grateful to have found Amy and to have had her support throughout our wedding planning journey! From the very early days of planning, Amy was incredibly helpful, calm, responsive, and reassuring. She helped us navigate the planning process, coordinate with our venue and caterer, and answer all of our questions promptly whenever we needed her guidance.
On our wedding day, Amy was an incredible help in coordinating with all of our vendors and making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. She also went above and beyond by putting together the flower arch for our ceremony, bringing the accessories we needed to set up the dessert table, organizing the welcome table and photo table, and providing other important details we needed, such as the gift card box and flower girl baskets. Her calm and organized presence gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our special day without worrying about all the little details.
Whenever we reached out to Amy for help, she was always quick to respond and provided thoughtful, clear, and helpful answers. We truly appreciate everything she did for us and feel so lucky to have had her by our side on such an important day. Amy at Top Shelf Events is truly one of a kind. I couldn't imagine my day without her. I struggle with being in control and overbearing, especially with it being our big day. Amy was professional, personable and ran my day way better than I could've imagined doing it myself! She arrived early, set up all decor the exact way I wanted it, made sure I was on time, fed, watered and happy throughout the whole day. She became an extension of our family for a weekend. We were not Any's typical wedding couple- nothing near it, as two women in our 70's with huge life experiences and opinions. We felt we got the Gold Ring by hiring Amy. She was wonderful to work with, handled so, so much more than we ever expected and all the while she was calm. cool and deeply supportive of us. We cannot imagine that anyone could be better at this job than Any. We don't have a reservation about her in any way. Do yourself a favor and hire this planner, We are so happy we did.
Amy went above and beyond for our backyard, micro-wedding and somehow made us feel like we were ballin’ on a budget. From our very first consultation call, she instantly put me at ease. She’s calm, confident, and clearly a subject-matter expert with years of experience under her belt.
She handled everything: coordinating with vendors, building our timeline, attending our rehearsal and even our “night-before” party to help with setup. Amy led with charisma and professionalism, turning our backyard into pure ‘earthy elegance’. When last-minute rain threatened the ceremony, she moved mountains getting tent sides delivered the morning of and even renting an extra tent for the DJ without missing a beat.
Amy truly thought of every little detail. She just made things happen seamlessly and never once let me or my mom stress. She’s that rare mix of a commanding leader and calm problem-solver. I would hire her ten times over. If you’re lucky enough to book Amy, do it. She’s the reason our day was perfect.
