1) tell people before you make an estimate that you plan to charge them for the estimate. 2) do what the person asks you to do. If you feel it should be done differently, either get them to agree or don’t do the job. Context: I specifically asked this company to place the AC unit on the left wall so that it didn’t block my fathers view of the backyard, but they ignored my specific request.

This charge is ridiculous. I had the filter, look at the price to change the filter. I would say a fair service charge would be $125. They are under numerous names ASAP Appliance and HVAC Pro I will never use Thumbtack again.

I was beyond impressed with Austin, my lead, and his crew who did an 80% demo of my '60s finished basement with full bath to prep for a waterproofing system and refinishing. They were kind and respectful, they showed up on time and literally worked non-stop for two days straight, they checked in with me multiple times to make sure they did the job to my specifications. The dumpster was dropped off right at the start of the job and picked up almost the minute the job was over. They put down protective covering from the outside door to the basement, completely cleaned up after themselves, and even vacuumed my carpet after they were finished with the job. From the time I called for an estimate to the time the job was complete was less than a week. They were competitive on price with other quotes I got. Very pleased!

You can improve by first delivering to your customers, the EXACT products that you offered and they paid for. Secondly, by ensuring that your representatives do not say something different and enticing over the phone to customers just to get their business and then change once they customer commits. More importantly, ensure that when your representatives give wrong information to customers (especially senior citizens) that they have the integrity and moral obligation to acknowledge their mistake and aim to do better. Good name is priceless. Intension to exploit will eventually catch up and ruin good name. I already sent pictures regarding my unfortunate encounter with Mr. Robert Ellis and my microwave oven issue. This includes missing filters, wrong grease filter, physical damage under control panel, turntable on the microwave wobbly and not sitting evenly on its support ring. Instead, it tilts towards the edges. Please review the recordings on this issue and the pictures of all the problems with this "supposed Brand New 1.9 cu ft GE Microwave Oven" which I and my neighbor already sent to Mr. Ellis via text on June 17, 2026. You will be hearing more from me. Meanwhile, I am being deprived of the use of a microwave since June 17, 2026. If you need additional information from me, my children and my neighbor will help me upload them over the weekend. Thank You.
