- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Vivid Painting, we aim to keep our pricing transparent, competitive, and fair. Here are a few things to know: -No hidden fees – What you see on your estimate is what you pay. We don’t believe in surprises (unless it’s a surprise transformation of your home!). -Bundle discounts – If you're tackling multiple projects at once (e.g., interior + exterior or several rooms), we can often provide a discounted rate. -Referral savings – We love referrals! If you refer someone who books with us, you’ll receive a thank-you discount on your next project. -Military & senior discounts – As a token of appreciation, we offer special pricing for veterans and seniors. -Deposit required – We typically collect a small deposit to lock in your spot on our schedule and prep materials ahead of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to keep things smooth, stress-free, and brushstroke-perfect from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect when working with Vivid Painting: Initial Contact & Estimate – Once you reach out, we’ll schedule a time to discuss your project. This could be an in-person walkthrough or a virtual estimate, depending on your needs and availability. Detailed Proposal – After evaluating the scope, we’ll send you a clear, itemized estimate outlining everything from prep work to finish coats. No fluff, just facts. Follow-Up – We’ll check in a day or two after sending your estimate to answer questions, make adjustments, and see if you’re ready to get on the schedule. Scheduling – Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll get your project on the calendar and confirm your paint colors, finishes, and final scope. Prep & Paint – Our crew shows up on time, protects your space, and gets to work. We handle everything from surface prep to clean-up with care and professionalism. Final Walkthrough – When the painting is complete, we’ll walk the project with you to make sure everything meets your expectations—and ours. Follow-Up & Touch-Ups – We’re here even after the last brushstroke. If anything comes up, we’ll take care of it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings a blend of hands-on experience, industry training, and ongoing learning to every project. While painting isn’t typically something taught in a traditional classroom, our crew members are trained in-house through a detailed onboarding process that covers: Proper surface prep and masking techniques Product knowledge (primers, paints, stains, and finishes) Brush, roll, and spray application methods Jobsite safety and cleanliness Customer service and communication Many of our team members have years of field experience, and we believe in continued improvement, whether that’s learning about new products, advanced application methods, or just how to serve customers better every day. At Vivid Painting, we combine skill, attention to detail, and a whole lot of pride in our craft. Education doesn’t always come with a diploma, but it definitely shows in our results.
