Hey everyone! My name is Devin, I'm a registered and licensed dietitian and a Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM). I am completely passionate about what I do! I'm here to bring empowerment in shifting our mindsets when it comes to the many challenges surrounding food. It can be so confusing understanding when to eat, how much to eat, finding the time to cook/meal prep, how to break the "all-or-nothing" mentality, how to break the yo-yo dieting and restrictive eating patterns, and more. It's literally exhausting! Let's break the "food rules" and allow ourselves to eat freely. Together we'll start making small changes that lead to big results!
Here are a few areas we can focus on: weight loss, meal planning tips, recipe ideas, better management of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, GERD (just to name a few), better understanding of how to eat/what to eat, debunking a fad diet, and more. Or if you just need plain old accountability!
I utilize virtual nutrition counseling (telehealth, 100% online) via a HIPAA compliant platform called "Healthie" and the session can be launched from your computer or phone. Healthie also has an app you can download. Zero traveling is required for our visits.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to ensure we're a good fit to work together before committing. From here, I work with 3 and 6 month packages which gets cheaper when the follow-ups are bundled.
With either the 3 or 6 month plan, here's what you get:
-2 sessions each month, bi-weekly (first session is 60 min and the rest 30 min follow ups)
-Plenty of meal/snack ideas throughout working together tailored to your needs/goals/food preferences
-Photo-based food logging (you'll be able to take photos of your meals with a brief description/reflection of your meal/hunger scale, and I'll respond with my recommendations for improvement)
-Meal planning tips/grocery shopping tips/recipe ideas
-Recap/summary document after each session so you're clear on goals and tips in between sessions
-Support and tips for special events/holidays/work lunches/vacations and how we're going to stay on track
-24/7 access to me at anytime using the Healthie app and messaging system for accountability, support, and questions (most clients use this daily which is encouraged)! And more!
