I have taught private cello, violin, & piano lessons in the Milwaukee, Germantown and Racine Wisconsin area for over 30 years. My husband & I recently relocated to the Riverview, Florida area. I use a traditional approach, but also incorporate many styles including Suzuki, worship, gospel, jazz, and classical.
I teach children, beginners through intermediate. My lesson fee is $25 per half an hour, weekly lesson is taught out of my home in Riverview, Florida. Also, I am very homeschool family friendly.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to rate my experience with Kim Garcia! I have two children (ages 14 & 10) taking piano lessons from her. Not only is she a gifted musician, she is also a gifted teacher! She does a wonderful job of connecting with young students and inspiring them to achieve more than they thought they could. If you are looking for a private tutor for piano, cello, or violin, I recommend you seriously consider Kim Garcia.

My daughter has taken lessons with Ms. Garcia for a number of years. She has a great teaching method and is able to connect with the kids! She was also always willing to work with our sports schedules and offer other flex abilities.

4 of my kids took piano lessons with Mrs. Garcia—age range 6-13. They all enjoyed learning from her and progressed well. She was very patient with my son who can get frustrated easily and sometimes acted out. We worked together to find solutions. Lesson times were consistent and pricing was clear and affordable. All in all a positive experience. We’d still be taking lessons with her if they hadn’t moved!

Kim is an excellent instructor. She takes time to get to know her students. By getting to know them she is able to create a lesson experience that best suits their learning style while pushing them to excellence. She communicates clearly and is punctual. Highly recommend!
