FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my labor fairly and when working by the hour, will give the client what they pay for. If I experience problems on the job that are caused by my actions, I will adjust my time accordingly. I provide quality labor at a fair price and will never take advantage of a client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Written (text) descriptions of a job or brands and model numbers of a piece of furniture or equipment is usually enough for me to quote a job. If I have additional questions I will ask. Initial conversations are usually by text message, so I can refer back to them, and once we agree on a price and set an appointment, I will be there on time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been assembling furniture for over twenty years, so I find very few surprises. I have worked skilled trades all of my life so I am adept with hand tools. By professional trade, I am a Generator Technician and have worked with electrical systems both professionally and personally. I have done everything from carpentry to electrical system installation and repairs, although I am not currently licensed to do so. I have repaired diesel engines, car engines, all systems on boats to include air conditioning. I have repaired commercial emergency power generators, and much more in between all that's above. All of this experience provides me with mechanical skills and knowledge of how things work that is applicable to every job I undertake. These skills, along with a work ethic that is based completely on customer satisfaction is why I have an outstanding record of client satisfaction. I have clients calling me from years back, because for me, every client is a long term relationship, and they will almost always call me first.
