FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Seeing how many dogs are surrendered to shelters and rescues as "untrainable." The challenge of working with dogs, that have usually worn out their welcome is a great motivator. The stress on the other end of the phone line, in the voice of someone who loves their dog, but cannot tolerate their behavior anymore is sad. We decided we need to help them get their relationship balanced and healthy, so they can continue to share whatever time they have together. It is the best thing we have ever done.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common types of jobs are Puppy Kindergarten, and obedience training, socialization, behavior modification and potty training!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently received a call from a woman in tears. Her dog bit someone and did not get along with other dogs. The worst problem, he didn't listen to her. He was getting older and bigger and she was afraid she was going to have to surrender him. We are happy to say, Gibbs is the perfect gentleman! He responds immediately and perfectly to her commands. He has not had any aggression incidents and is actually quite popular at the dog park these days! His owner is thrilled. We are quite proud of the new Gibbs too!
