Introduction

Hi! My name is Amanda and I was a special education teacher before getting injured on the job by breaking up a fight in my classroom. I decided to change paths and as an avid animal lover & rescue dog mom I decided to choose happiness by switching into my dream job of pet care provider. After my injury and providing pet care via ROVER I decided to create my own pet care business, PAWSITIVE PET CARE SERVICES and am loving it!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a behavioral therapist for children with Autism for 17 years after I was a nanny. I then transitioned from therapy into teaching special education l. I have a lot of love, patience and am very caring. I am a rescue mom and have always been a lover of all fur babies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a rescue mom now of three dogs and I have always loved pets. I cannot imagine a better job then being able to care for and love on as many pets as possible!
