Stefan Bernhard is a wonderful pianist and teacher. He has great insight and grasp of musical concepts within the context of works of different periods and styles. He has helped me solve technical challenges by demonstrating creative fingering and proper hand/weight distribution. He is meticulous about musical clarity, precision and nuance while conveying a practical approach to deal with complex passages. I highly recommend Mr. Bernhard to students and pianists at any level for his unique and effective teaching method.

Stefan was a great help for me getting started with piano. He helped me find plenty of resources to learn from. He was also patient and responsive to my practice, my playing, and my goals for playing piano. Stefan told me something that I carry with me any time I practice: "Everyone hates playing with a metronome, but you gotta do it."
