- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sometimes we have promotions are not always gonna be the cheapest, but we’re not always gonna be the most expensive any fees they may have would go towards like if you use the insurance company they’re deductible and then of course if you know we find rotted decking or facia that needs to be replaced stuff like that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First off, you have to be persistent to get the job from the new customer then doing your inspection if you find any type of damage or if there is no damage if there is damage file the claim walk them through the process until the roof is finished if the roof is just ran out of its life span. Explain to them what out-of-pocket Roof exist of Let them know all their options as far as along with the inspection, give them a free estimate with photos and a report then if they accept your estimate, you get them put on the roof schedule as far as a date to start. Call them the week of the install. Let them know that the dumpster will be there the day before in their driveway for the duration of the project which depending on how big the roof is could be a day could be two possibly three check in on the customer while the roof is being installed. Come out take pictures and a video. Make sure the crew does a magnet sweep for nails left over. see the customer when the roof is done to get final approval and that’s pretty much it.
