FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We try to keep a fairly reasonable hourly rate. We also offer package pricing for things such as Weddings and Corporate / Social Media Commercials. If we are working on a very long editing process, we don't expect the client to pay us our hourly rate. Instead, we chop it in half.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll begin by going over the details of your event. What are you looking to capture? How long should we be shooting for? What type of edited video would you like to have (length, music, etc.)? We'll schedule the date of your event, go over some simple paperwork, and take a 25% retainer to secure the day. 50% is then due within 30 days of the shoot, with the final 50% due upon delivery of the completed video. For productions that are set to take place within 1-2 weeks, we ask for the 25% deposit, then 50% remaining within 3 days of the shoot. For productions that are scheduled to take place within less than a week, we ask for a 50% deposit with the final 50% due upon completion of the video.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my journey into videography in 2009 but switched gears in 2012 when an online art business I created went viral and was featured on Forbes, Bloomberg, Daily Mail, and several other popular sites. I have over five years of videography and editing experience.
