FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don’t charge anything for estimates. I prefer to do them via pictures sent through the phone or email but I need lots of pictures from many various angles. In case you’re wondering how that’s possible I use the width of the dishwasher and stove which are normally a constant as a guide for measurement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically a customer will reach out to me via text or phone call requesting a quote to have their kitchen cabinets repainted. From there I will either do an on site visit or provide the quote onsite or via text, email, or some other means like WhatsApp. Once the customer accepts the contract price I collect 50% upfront, order materials, and schedule the work to be done. Once the work is completed I collect the final 50% payment, ask if they’re happy with the work, and take a bunch of “after” pics.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for Sherwin Williams through college which trains their employees in different types of coatings. The rest I picked up working for an auto body repair shop, owning my own furniture business and a decade of spraying kitchens myself.
