I needed last minute alterations that I thought was going to be a simple shortening and movement of straps. GDA Alteration truly exceeded all my expectations. Recently, I worked with Gina and she helped me with the hem of my dress, took it in around the waist and shortened the straps. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on work performed and fabric type.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I either go to the client or the client comes to my atelier. If I must travel more than 15 miles, I charge $10 extra unless the work performed is more than $100.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at Aprende Institute and worked in a small alterations shop in Miami where I gained ample experience in bridal and evening gown alterations.
