I believe in an individualized treatment plan tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, couples counseling, eating disorders, and trauma issues. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, Gottman methods, and EMDR among others. I feel that therapy should be a positive experience of growth for each individual and encourage my clients to collaborate with me as their treatment progresses. As a Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida, I have the pleasure of supervising Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns. In addition, I specialize in EMDR which is widely used for trauma issues. I also have been trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, which is a very well respected and researched method used for couples counseling. I truly enjoy helping others navigate through difficulties they are experiencing. It is incredibly rewarding to counsel others and watch them grow and prosper with their lives.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100.00 per session. I accept Credit/Debit Cards, Check, or Cash.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I see a new client for an intake session which takes 50 minutes to 1 hour. This session involves me gathering relevant background information and a plan for counseling. We collaborate on a plan for treatment from that point forward. It is most important for me for the client to feel heard and understood. Most importantly for me is for the client to feel that counseling is meeting their expectations and helping them progress and grow. It is a completely safe and non-judgmental environment.
