Introduction: There’s a reason parents and kids feel gratitude and relief when Dr. Meg Murray, educational psychologist and owner of Be Alright Tutoring, steps into their lives: • Is it her background in education, which includes a doctorate in educational psychology earned from the University of Connecticut? • Is it her athletic career, which includes playing for the UConn Huskies™ in the mid-1980s under famed Coach Geno Auriemma? And, includes certification as a personal trainer? • Or, is it her life after college, which includes acting as a sports psychologist for the elite athletes of NASCAR™, the NFL™ and Wimbledon champ Mary Pierce? • Is it her experience working with special needs’ children and families? • The time she spent as an advisor for athletes and other students at the University of Texas and Texas State University? • Maybe it’s her prestigious work as education lead helping carve out a new path for learning with the acclaimed project like the $350-million Las Vegas project 9thBridgeSchool. While Dr. Meg’s resume is impressive, the time she invested in her own special needs' children and the foster children under her care for 18 years is likely what speaks to families the loudest. It’s this experience which gave Murray a deep and personal understanding of the power behind a strong, encouraging, outside voice when it comes to supporting families living through our challenging world. The tutor we worked with was able to connect to my granddaughter who has autism. She took her time with the lessons and she would redirect her to something else when she saw my granddaughter get frustrated. Awesome people to deal with.

we worked with dr. meg and her tutors to help my daughter. the tutors were so compassionate, making sure to create a connection with my daughter, so that she felt safe and comfortable. this then allowed her to be able to take in and understand the information. they were able to do what the classroom teacher was not. loved dr. meg's professionalism and timely replies to all of my questions. worth every penny!

Dr Meg and her staff have been life changers for our family. I became a new addition to a family with a child with dislexia. It wasn’t until I stepped in to help with scholastics; I noticed that he was struggling; very emotional and not able to read directions on the back of a medicine bottle. Dr Meg, JoEllen and Mary worked round the clock to help us assess his needs; diagnose the unique learning difference that he has and map out a plan to help us navigate through the tutoring. Our son LOVES his tutor and actually looks forward to his sessions with her! His grades for this semester were all a,b and c which is the first time ever in his 7 years of school! His teachers have all commented on how he’s doing better than ever and his confidence is growing by the day. He used to hate school and would avoid any independent work; he’s now able to work independently and actually WANTS to do the assignments. This is 100% because of the hard work and commitment Dr Meg and her staff have provided. It’s worth EVERY PENNY!!
