- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing complicated. Exactly what do you need moved? A pickup full of thorny limbs are a lot more work than to load up a chair, and love seat. I don't mind working, but sometimes I'll bring help for a hard job. My price will always include Thumbtacks charge, LEGAL, and proper disposal of "junk", sometime this will have a fees depending on where it has to go, a little fuel for my loyal truck, and hopefully a couple bucks for my pocket.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send a quote, if I am chosen, I will make contact through email, or phone, or text. Usually twice to co-ordinate time, day, and location. I try to make it as simple, and worry free as possible for the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most universities do not offer "hauling junk 101" as a course, but I have been hired somewhere around 160 times.
