I was looking for a value and quality granite installation company for my father’s home. There are many companies in the Orlando/Seminole area with expensive pricing. Sanford Granite honored the pricing on thumbtack. Jennifer was welcoming and informative for the first response. She was quick to answer questions and worked with Hani. Hani was honest and straightforward in dealing with my dad who wanted the work to be warrantied. He worked with us to get the installation down quickly. The work was done incredibly fast and the quality is incredible. Absolutely beautiful design on the countertop . Would have liked better communication because there was a lot of back-and-forth, but I take partial responsibility since I work a lot of hours. They were very flexible with my schedule. Decent pricing. One damaged piece on backsplash would be my only complaint, But they did a full quartz counter install and backsplash install. They even helped me to arrange the plumber for the sink.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To give the best rates we give our clients itemized estimates and charge for material and labor separately. Our material starts at $10/sf per slab. Fabrication (including installation) starts at $25/sf.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We understand working with contractors can be difficult and for that reason we have a 3-step process to ensure communication is smooth and all requirements are discussed.
First, we come out for a free on-site estimate and discuss all options, variations, and upgrades. During this phase, we share ideas with the client based on our expertise and capture their must-have details.
Second, we take all requirements and samples back to the shop and get to work first digitally designing a 3D mockup of the room, then to preparing the materials for install.
Lastly, within a week from our start date, we come out back on site with a full team and all our materials to install the countertops and cabinets, and complete the project. After our final polish, we do run through with our clients to ensure the project has gone above their expectations.
