I am a E-RYT200/500/YACEP trained and certified Yoga and meditation teacher, MCT certified mindfulness teacher, stress management coach, and certified Ritual Guide. I have been teaching since 2014 and have over 2500 hours of teaching experience with a wide variety of individuals, groups, teams, communities, companies, retreats, and special events.
I provide services both in-home and beachside in the 30A & Miramar Beach areas, and in-home only in Freeport, Defuniak Springs, Destin, and Panama City Beach (or in any indoor or outdoor venue you have permitted access). Virtual services are available nationwide.
My training includes various Yoga modalities (Hatha, Tantra, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Kundalini-Hatha Mix, and Adaptive Yoga); mantra, meditation, mindfulness, and Yoga Nidra; Anatomy & Physiology (asana, alignment and hands-on adjustments); Subtle Bodies (Koshas, Gunas, Chakras, Aura, and Energetic Healing); Ayurveda (Gunas, Tattvas, Doshic Balancing, Dinacharya, the Human Disease Process, and Chinese Medicine); Vinyasa Krama (energetics of practice, sequencing, and structuring an effective practice); Pranayama (breathing techniques, proper use, benefits and precautions); History & Philosophy of Yoga (study of the psychology, history and philosophy of yoga, including the Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the Gheranda Samhita); mantra, Sanskrit, and the science of sound; Trauma-Informed Yoga; and Teaching for Special Populations (adapting classes for pregnancy, seniors, children, injuries, limitations, and disabilities). I teach many styles of yoga and also specialize in stress relief and stress management coaching. These things put together allow me to effectively customize and modify yoga for every individual, and create specialized programs to help customers reach their goals and meet their needs.
I love being able to help people. It's the reason I started teaching yoga. I love seeing smiles on people's faces after class and being able to help them reach their goals to become healthier and happier in mind, body and spirit. Hearing my students say, "your class is the thing I look forward to most in my week because it makes me feel so good," reminds me every single day of the importance of the service and support I'm providing, and I'm driven to giving my all to help every student achieve satisfaction and happiness.
