When we decided to get married, we were just going to elope. We’ve known each other since toddlers and just wanted the day to be about the two of us. However, we really wanted pictures of us with our family. We decided to just have my mom and our kids as guests and get married on the deck at our house. We researched and viewed many photographers and the quality of their pictures before contacting Kristine. We liked her immediately. She greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly and professional. She went through everything with us and made sure any questions we had were answered. She showed up early and looked around to get insight on the best angles and shots for her to take. We are not creative and only had a few requests of pictures we wanted taken. We told Kristine she could take the lead and we’d follow. It’s one thing to really like the person taking the pictures, but we wouldn’t get to see them until we were back from our honeymoon. Wow! She totally exceeded our expectations and the pictures were so beautiful. All we wanted was to have our special day memorialized with beautiful pictures and she did exactly that. Not only were we so happy with her professionalism and demeanor, we found out before her time was up, that she just received a call with a personal tragedy before she was to arrive at our house. She still showed up, never seemed rush, and always had a smile on her face. She is truly amazing. Thank you, so much Kristine for giving us memories and pictures that will always make us proud. If we ever need a photographer or if anyone we know needs one, Kristine will be the one called.

Kristine is one of the best. I was so happy she replied to my quote. I fell in love with her work when I saw it on instagram. It was soft, dreamy, and just beautiful and knew it was a perfect fit. I met her a couple days before the wedding and was so nervous about the weather, but she put me at ease. She was patient, kind and also made it fun. We hate having the attention on us and didn’t like the thought of someone taking our pictures, but she made us feel comfortable. It was windy and we never got our sunset photo, but we took her to one of our favorite spots to fish and she made it work. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life until she gave me a sneak peak of our pictures. After that photo, I knew I was going to love every single picture. I am so amazed! We love you Kristine and you definitely have family on Maui now!

Kristine was absolutely wonderful to work with. She met us on short notice during our vacation in Maui. She came to our hotel and took pictures on the grounds and at the beach. She was very professional and at the same time relaxed and easy to work with. The hour long session flew by quickly. We came across Kristine with Wild Grass Photography while searching for somebody to do a Honeymoon photo session while we were in Maui celebrating, and upon first impression via Thumbtack, she was so sweet, caring, and interested in our trip and the needs for our session. Kristine proposed some beautiful beach locations and let us choose which we thought we would like most, and it was great having her guidance since this was our first time to Maui. She was as enthusiastic in person as she was when speaking with her through our internet messages. Her direction throughout the session was super helpful, and let us know exactly how to pose or what she was aiming for with lighting, etc. We really appreciated her responsiveness, enthusiasm, and professionalism!!
