What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary based on lessons purchased and the lesson length. I also offer family discounts and income based prices! Ask away!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do is establish short term and long term goals and determine what will be attainable. We work together to get a schedule set. When we begin lessons, we start with the basics or where the student left of if they have experience. I make sure all students have the fundamentals and do patchwork where needed if the student missed anything or was not taught by a previous something that I believe should be. My students begin the the fundamentals of music theory, history, and the preferred instrument fundamentals or vocal fundamentals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in music education. I am obtaining my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as music performance.
I have taught at private and public schools and have been doing private lessons for 8 years.
