Kathleen Taylor Dear Sirs: I understand that my review of Mr Robert Kristovich of Kool Air Inc. did not get published despite my redoing it after the first "no go." This will be the 3rd effort and a copy is being sent to Mr. Kristovich: We were extremely pleased with the work done by Mr. Kristovich of Kool Air Inc on our heating/cooling vents which were full of fungus. He was the most knowledgeable person I spoke with about the problem, and his work was thorough and reasonable. He even gives a 5 yr warrantee with his work. My husband noticed the difference in the air when he arrived home as the mustiness was gone. I have recommended him to family members already.

The only reason I didn't give him 1 star was that he was able to reschedule and showed up on time. Now to the bad. First of all, he showed up in a Smith AC truck and said he did this on the side. Does Smith know your using their truck and doing work on the side with it. Then, after being told that his quote included everything, he immediately tested for mold (with a quick swipe of a Q-tip and dipped in a test-tube) and said he would have to treat for mold before any cleaning could be done for an extra $199 (or $150 if I did it that day). The treatment involved spraying a product called Sporicidin. Having been in the carpet cleaning business for 30 years, I knew that when this product is used that no person or animal should be in the area and should be well ventilated afterwards. To my dismay, he said he wanted to run the system for 5 or 6 days after application with the windows closed and said there was no reason we couldn't be here. Really? After writing up a quick estimate for my landlord, he drove off as quickly as he came after he realized I wasn't going for his upsell. My son-in-law works for a real AC company and warned me about the initial low quote when he knew to do the job right, it would cost much more, but I thought I'd give this guy a chance. Never again. Buyer beware. I can't believe people actually fall for this.

the average us nation price for a duct clean ..400-600$ my quote was for 249$ he needed much more then a sanitizer..an basic duct clean...sproricide treatment is a step up from sanitize...the levels of ammonia from years of animal urine were apparent, that a simple sanitizer would not fix his problem.only mask it...im sorry u felt your time was wasted as do I felt mine was too.pride myself in hohnesty an honest priceing..maybe get quote from servepro or Stanley steamer...God bless....

Bob is pleasant and communicative about the job plan, the needed materials and the completion time. He is cost-effective and a wise shopper for materials. Bob is clean and leaves the job site tidied up. The project looks great and I look forward to working with Bob on future projects.
