Carla with Today's Investigation came to my rescue when I had a personal family estate matter that needed to be 'researched' while a certain family member was in town being sneaky after another family member passed away. Carla replied to my inquiry about hiring a PI within minutes. When you have never hired a PI before and don't really even know what you need, it was wonderful talking to Carla to better understand what details and information I needed to find out to strengthen my case and whether it was even possible!
It is important if you are thinking about hiring any privateinvestigator that you understand what they can legally do and what they are actually able to do. This is not like the movies. Be very clear about your expectations up front before you sign off on the contract, find out how many hours she anticipates needing, that you both agree on the objective and methods, and ask about what the most important 'tasks' are for her to investigate if you are short on budget. Communication is key. Keep in mind that Carla is not going to chase people down with a trench coat and detective hat like in the movies.
Once Carla committed to my case, she was on it for several days until I had the surveillance (both pictures and videos) that I needed to strengthen my case. She texted and called me regularly throughout those days and we decided when we had enough information to end the surveillance and the case. She was very valuable to me in a time of great need and urgency. Reach out to her if you have any doubts about her capabilities. I think you will get a better idea of her abilities and personality once you get on a phone call with her. She was quick to respond to me!

As many of the other reviews have stated, Carla is very trustworthy, personable, very likable, extremely easy to talk to, and MOST OF ALL, delivers on her word!!! I hired Carla for an infidelity investigation, something that was very difficult for me to even approach, emotionally. Carla's warm personality and sense of humor put me at ease right away and made me feel as though I had someone on my side--and she truly was!! Carla was very informative about the entire process--what to expect, how the investigation "works", and what she could and could not legally do as part of the investigation. She emailed me a contract, gave me time to review and sign, I made payment, and then we proceeded. It was very pressure-free and she gave me plenty of time to ask questions before signing the contract. Carla was extremely informative throughout the investigation. If I found out (a few days or even less, in advance) that there would be an opportunity for Carla to do a surveillance and get some "incriminating" evidence, Carla made it her priority. She made it to the right place at the right time and kept me informed in "real time" via Bluetooth and texting. When the investigation was completed, Carla sent me a DVD with film of any pertinent images/information from the surveillance. I would recommend Carla to anyone. She goes "above and beyond" in customer service. It is obvious that cares about her clients and she is there to help in any way she can! Thank you, Carla!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat hourly rate. I do not charge for drive time or mileage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A free consultation is provided. A contract is then sent to the client via docusign. A request for the retainer fee is sent via PayPal. The investigator and client work closely together throughout the investigation.
