Long story short, my 16 yr. old indoor cat escaped while under their care. Complicating that, their handling of it was atrocious. Not only did it seem as though they had no policies in place on what the sitter should do if it happens, the owner did not seem to care to learn from this incident and put such policies in place. They make a big deal about being bonded and insured but it did little good for me. I had to leave a veterinary continuing ed program 2 days early that i paid for. The owner was willing initially to have my costs reimbursed but when she found out the insurance policy would not cover my conference costs (which were only about $340) she all of a sudden would not take responsibility. I tried to work this out amicably but apparently that did nothing. She said she would not reimburse my costs for that since my immediate return did not make a difference in my cat's return (took over 2 weeks to find him). Was I to leave my other animals in the care of the same person who lost one of them???? I find it repulsive that they play on our love for our animals but when I expressed my love by returning home immediately, it was held against me. Tells me all I need to know about their "love" for our animals. Use this company at your own risk!
