- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically $400 for a 2000 sq ft or less home, includes 4-Point & Wind Mitigation. Price increases with added square footage and multiple air zones. Add $75-$100 for a WDO (termite inspection). Add $175 for a septic inspection. Add $50 if there is a pool.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client and I speak over the phone so I can understand exactly what kind of services the client needs. I look up the property address and square footage and then give the client a price for the inspection. Once accepted, we schedule the inspection, and I arrive on the day scheduled to complete the job. It is preferred that the client be present at the end of the inspection so I can walk the client around the house and explain my findings. After the inspection, a detailed report with embedded photos is emailed the same day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years in the construction and education fields with formal home inspection coursework from the Professional Home Inspectors Institute. National licensing exam. State licensing and continuing education every two years.
