Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Each client is treated as an individual every time he/she comes in. No two days are the same. Time is spent to find out the reason the person is in, what his/her needs are for that day and then we make a plan to deliver the most appropriate treatment. I have taken many advanced training to keep abreast with new and improved thechniques to meet the needs and my clients and to see them recover and have great results. I strongly believe in an educated but compassionate provider in this line of work. I love my work. It is not a job to me. My work is what I do and who I am. I come to my job but my work stays with me. I love my work because I am grateful for the opportunity to touch people's life and help people feel better not only physically but in many instances emotionally better. I also like the fact that I can take my skills with me where ever I go and it offers much flexibility and can pay well. I like the fact that more and more people are recognizing the benefits of massage and body work and are asking for it.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Continuing education cannot be emphasized enough. Going through school and passing the boards are just the fundamentals on which your profession lies. Continuing education cements the knowledge and the experience and introduces new and advanced treatments to enhance your credentials in the industry. To that end I have pursued certifications in Manual Lymph Drainage from the Vodder School in Austria. I have also completed training and become certified in Kinesio Taping. I am a member of NAVALT, ABMP, FSMTA, and CIDESCO Diplome International. I have also kept up with reviews for skincare with PCA an ILIKE organics.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My number one advice would be to make sure the provider is licensed and experienced. Check the provider's training background and credentials. If you can get a personal referral from friend that would be a good lead to act on. If a website is available certainly check it out before to see if that person is the right one for your needs.
