FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have 26 years of full time experience in the Tampa Bankruptcy Court representing the other side in bankruptcy cases, the bankruptcy trustees. The fees quoted are competitive with other fees charged by other consumer bankruptcy attorneys in the Tampa Bay region with similar experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with a free initial consultation where alternatives to bankruptcy and the different types of bankruptcy are discussed. Not everyone needs to file a bankruptcy case, but for many bankruptcy is often the only option. Life happens and we all must press on regardless.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida (1979 summa cum laude) and the University of Florida College of Law (1989). I was admitted to the Florida Bar on April 27, 1990. I served as an Assistant State Attorney from January 1990 through August 1991; an Associate Attorney with the law firm of Meininger & Meininger from August 1991 to August 1993 (a law firm dedicated to representing chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees); and I was the Senior Staff Attorney for the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee from August 1993 to April 2017. In May 2017 I opened a private law office dedicated to representing consumer debtors in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies. Call today for a free initial consultation.
