Introduction: I have been a member of the Florida Bar for over 18 years. My experience includes over 20 years of criminal justice experience, which includes my time as a former probation officer, state prosecutor for both Hillsborough and Pasco counties, former law clerk for the state criminal judges, conducting research on 3.850 motions for post-conviction relief motions, former law clerk for federal judges, and former federal prosecutor.
I was the former lead trial attorney and deputy chief for the drug division and that for the U.S. Attorney's office. I prosecuted federal drug offenses, wire taps and RICO violations, as well as organized fraud and both criminal and civil asset forfeiture cases.
I am board certified in criminal trial law by the Florida Bar (of the 75,784 lawyers in Florida, there are only 323 attorneys certified in this area). I have been admitted to practice in both state and federal court, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
