Introduction: I provide lessons to students that best fit their learning style and goals as a musician. I can teach all levels from beginner to advanced as well as most styles including classical and pop. I enjoy teaching music because it gives me joy to know I am sharing my passion with others. Music is a universal language and to be able to teach others to express themselves through music is wonderful. I also enjoy seeing my students progress and reach their goals.

Ekaterina not only has the knowledge, skills and expertise of an excellent piano instructor, but she also has the kindness and love for teaching that make her students excell. She has been teaching my daughter for about 3 years and we could not be happier with the progress and continued interest she shows in learning. We are very lucky to have found Ms. Ekat. My husband, son and I started in group lessons with the intent to continue lessons for my son (who is on the autism spectrum) if things worked out. 2 years later :-), she is a part of this family. It is so amazing to see how he's learned so much! She is patient and able to work with everyone's individual pace. She stretches his ability with lots of encouragement while keeping focus on the lesson. She ends the lessons by summarizing with us his progress and going over his homework. Ekat always works with us on scheduling lessons, she is punctual and timely communicates any changes. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat rate of $40 per hour. $20 for half hour lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are ready to take lessons and have a keyboard or piano, we will start with a free trial lesson. If you don't have a keyboard or piano I can help you choose one! After our free trial, if you think we are a good fit, then we can schedule weekly lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied classical piano for 25 years. I have participated in many recitals, performances, and local competitions. I also have a BA degree in Music Studies, with a concentration in piano performance from the University of South Florida. I am currently in the process of working on a Master's degree in Piano Pedagogy from USF.
