I called in with a clogged toilet, they told me its $100 for the technician to come out and diagnose. I asked for just a general idea of how much it cost to unclog a toilet over the phone. I didnt want the guy to come out and then say oh its $1000 for me to unclog your toilet and then I have to pay $100 just for him to come out and tell me a price that Im not willing to pay. The lady on the phone said I understand your concern about cost blah blah blah blah blah but I cant actually provide any useful information whatsoever. so Im not using them. Its a clogged toilet. You were telling me you cant even give a range? Its gotta be the most common call you get.I understand you may encounter something unexpected. But that doesnt mean you cant say usually if its a simple clog and we just have to use an auger to clear it, it costs $100. It could be more if there is something very unusual though. The policy of well come and wont give you any idea at all is a deal I wont make ever.

The challenge is that a "clogged toilet" can have many different causes. It could be a simple blockage that can be cleared quickly, or it could be a symptom of a larger issue in the drain or sewer line. Until one of our licensed technicians evaluates the situation, we don't want to guess and risk giving you inaccurate information.
Our $100 diagnostic fee covers the technician's time to properly diagnose the problem and provide you with an exact price before any work is performed. You'll always have the opportunity to approve or decline the repair before we begin.
