Q. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A. I take certification classes
Q. How did you get started doing this type of work?
A. We had our carpets professionally cleaned and my daughter rolled out of bed that night and slept on the carpet. She contracted kawasaki disease from the cleaners soaking into her skin. I started researching carpet cleaning chemicals and found most are extremely dangerous. I discovered a water based cleaner with no health risks that left the carpets dry in 1 hour. I contacted other carpet cleaners and found nobody was offering this amazing safe carpet cleaning process in our area. I founded my company on the basis of a SAFE cleaning process for children & pets that left the carpet restored and dry in 1 hour.
Q. What types of customers have you worked with?
A. Carpet Cleaning, Tile Cleaning, Stone Floors, Grout Restoration, Property Clean outs, Maid Services, Guaranteed Odor Removal, Guaranteed Allergy Relief, Air Duct Cleaning, Dryer Vent Cleaning.
Q. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A. Make sure they are insured, licensed, bonded and look for reviews of that company. Get a price upfront and ask what conditions could make that price change when they get to the door. This is a very important question as most carpet cleaners quadruple their price at the door.
Q. What questions should customers think through before talking to
professionals about their project?
A. There are many unprofessional companies trying to charge extra for deodorizer. Do not let any company try to charge extra for something the carpet manufacturer requires you use when cleaning a carpet. Be careful of these 6.95 a room cleaners they always raise the price at the door to upwards of $80.00 per room. Look for reviews of the company and prices before you call.
