I have a Master’s degree in Education from Regent University and a bachelor in Business from Nyack College. My general experience has been focused on two main areas – human services and education. I am very passionate about empowering people with the resources needed to live a meaningful life on a personal and educational level. I am highly motivated to equipping individuals with the vocational resources needed to enhance their career goals or social interests in pursuit of personal goals. My human services skills encompassed an array of services like providing vocational instruction and counseling to individuals with disabilities and, connecting them to much needed resources within the community for social services such as, training, housing, medical and social resources for personal and career advancement On an educational level, I have taught in a number of public and private schools in Bergen County, New Jersey and Rockland County, New York. My educational history dates back to my teenage years when I taught biblical principles to little ones in a church setting. My educational repertoire includes heading and operating a home-based business for preschoolers, teaching office skills and computer skills to individuals with disabilities, teaching Spanish in Middle and High School at public schools and at a Catholic High School. and other private settings as well. I have also taught Spanish to college students at various colleges for college credits. I have taught personal enrichment at a community college as well. I am a former educational administrator at two of those colleges. I am currently an adjunct professor at a 4 year college and work seasonally at a Community College where I teach elementary and intermediate Spanish and Reading and Writing Skills. I enjoy helping people and lending them the tools they need to survive and succeed in life’s many uncertain turns. I believe that when people are empowered and become confident in and within themselves the sky is the limit of what they can accomplish.
