- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a low, flat fee for every service that we provide, as well as several discounts & free extras. People that we have spoken to throughout the years have been shocked at how much less Tax Starz costs than traditional accounting firms & big name tax preparation companies. Expect to save up to 65%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Tax Starz we'll show you what we can do for you and give you pricing up front before we start working. For remote clients, tax documents & information are uploaded through our website and then we take it from there. We finalize the tax return through a virtual meeting (or in person if you're in the Tampa Bay area) and keep you updated until the refund is approved. You can also ask us tax and accounting related questions at any time throughout the year as advice is free for everyone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our lead accountant, Louis, has been in the profession for more than a decade. He went to school for accounting and has prepared more tax returns than most accountants will see in 30 years time. Louis has several certifications & licenses, including IRS Enrolled Agent (the highest possible under the IRS), and he also does bookkeeping and payroll for our clients.
