FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I utilize flat rate pricing to be able to price out any repair or equipment replacement hvac related. Typically I charge $50.00 per system maintenance (for example if your home has 2 systems to perform maintenance on both will cost 100.00) ( 1 system is the equivalent of 1 inside air handler and 1 outside condenser, or 1 outside all in one package unit) but this may change depending on unit location and access.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new customer typically involves first a phone call to gather all the information the customer can provide me of the current symptoms of what they are experiencing from the equipment. This will help me advise the customer as to what to do to prevent any further damage to the system prior to my arrival. After my arrival I then diagnose the problem and show the customer the issue to validate my credibility. I then make recommendations taking into account the equipment age and state that will be most beneficial to the customer and the equipment efficiency and longevity. If there is a situation where the most beneficial option is not financially affordable, I can always give a second more affordable option to get the system running, with this option i will educate the customer on the decision and its risks to protect myself should you take the gamble option and it does not work out the way you hoped. After the repair option has been decided and a price has been agreed upon the service will be performed and I will collect the agreed total amount when the customer is satisfied and verifies that the unit is back to its normal working order. If there is a situation where warranty parts are necessary depending on the day and time (after hours or weekends) the availability of the parts may not be accessible to me until they either arrive if they are shipped or we are waiting until the warehouse is back open for business (M-F 8-5pm), this will require a 25% non refundable deposit to ensure I am not losing time or money as I am working on getting the necessary warranty parts to replace on the system and the customer decides to change their mind etc. etc.
