The technician - Kyrylo - communicated very well, starting with confirmation of the appointment which I was able to schedule online. He also sent me a text letting me know he would be arriving shortly.
Once he arrived, he was very polite, professional, and courteous. He quickly identified the issue with my refrigerator (Cooling and Ice Maker problem), provided a reasonable repair estimate, and completed the repair promptly. My appliance is now performing like new :-).
I am very happy with the work and the overall service. I would highly recommend this company and technician to anyone in need of appliancerepair.

Uses AI to trick the Thumbtack 1min response rating. That in itself shows the corners they'll cut in the pursuit of a dollar. I won't give business to a place that would obviously sell you Dollar store parts and charge you for OEM.

Your initial Thumbtack request stated that a Sears representative had already inspected the cooktop and told you that it needed a control board. Our response simply referred to the information you provided and asked for the model number so we could verify the unit and determine whether we could service it.
No technician from Appliance Repair Optimal inspected or diagnosed your cooktop, no repair was performed, and we did not sell or install any parts for you. Therefore, the comments regarding “Dollar store parts” or charging for OEM parts do not relate to any service provided by our company.

Kyrylo did a great job with my refrigerator. Very professional and knowledgeable, he took time to explain what the problem was and how to prevent it in the future. Reasonable prices and the great quality work, strongly recommend!

Our diagnostic service is $89. After inspecting the appliance, we explain what failed and provide the repair price before any work begins. Repair costs depend on the appliance, problem and parts needed. We prefer clear pricing upfront, so there are no surprise charges after the job is done.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we ask about the appliance, brand and symptoms so we can come prepared. At the appointment, we diagnose the actual cause of the problem, explain the repair options and price, then complete the repair once approved. Afterward, we test the appliance before considering the job finished.
