What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! My license requires me to obtain at least 24 hours of continuing education each year. However, I take more than that. I also spend countless hours reading industry publications, IRS communications, and articles/news on tax law changes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are a lot of people that call themselves accountants and tax experts. However, many of them don't have college degrees or licenses. Be sure to ask any accountant you meet about their education and professional credentials.
