FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All prices are done per job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Typical Process for Working with a New Customer Initial Contact & Discovery We begin by speaking with the customer to understand their needs—whether it’s a service call, upgrade, renovation, or new installation. We gather preliminary details about the scope, timeline, and site conditions. Site Visit & Assessment For most jobs, especially larger projects, we schedule an on-site walk-through. This allows us to evaluate existing conditions, confirm measurements, assess panel capacity, and identify any code or safety concerns. Proposal & Estimate Based on the assessment, we provide a detailed written proposal. This includes a clear scope of work, estimated labor hours, materials, pricing, and any applicable permit or inspection requirements. Customer Approval & Scheduling Once the proposal is approved, we finalize scheduling. We coordinate with the customer and any other involved parties (such as builders, designers, or utility companies) to align timelines. Permit & Procurement If required, we handle permit applications and procure all necessary materials and equipment in advance to ensure the job runs smoothly and on schedule. Execution of Work Our licensed electricians perform the work in a clean, safe, and professional manner. Communication is maintained throughout the project to keep the customer informed of progress. Inspection & Completion After completion, we coordinate any required inspections. We walk the job with the customer to ensure satisfaction and address any final adjustments. Final Invoice & Follow-up Once the job is completed and approved, we issue the final invoice. We also follow up to ensure everything is functioning as expected and to answer any remaining questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our electricians have completed a formal electrical apprenticeship program, which included both classroom instruction and on-the-job training under the supervision of licensed electricians. This training covered electrical theory, code compliance (including the National Electrical Code), safety standards, blueprint reading, and practical hands-on installations. In addition to the apprenticeship, our electricians are Journeyman Electrician, which requires passing a comprehensive exam and maintaining continuing education credits to stay current with code updates and best practices. Over the years, we have participated in manufacturer-specific training and continuing education courses focused on emerging technologies such as smart home systems, EV charging stations, energy-efficient lighting, and generator installations. Our experience spans residential, and light commercial projects, which has given us a broad, well-rounded foundation in electrical systems and service work.
